Marca revealed earlier in March that Lamine Yamal, who has been a revelation at Camp Nou this season, is the subject of a huge €200 million offer from Ligue 1 powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain. Recently, Barcelona reportedly turned down a €200 million offer for the young attacker, according to club president Joan Laporta.
The Blaugrana boss continued by saying that, aside from the 16-year-old winger, rival teams have made offers for six other Barcelona players, but the Catalan powerhouses are not willing to part with any of their young players.
“We get offers for players like Lamine Yamal, for €200 million, and we have said no,” Laporta stated in an interview with SPORT. Rather, we do not need it because we have faith in the boy’s athletic projection.
Alejandro Balde, Fermin, the crucial Gavi, Pedri, De Jong, and Araujo have all received offers from us. We do not, however, wish to sell them. As I’ve explained to you, the only way to do these would require an income of $1,000,000,000.”
After the international break, Xavi’s team will return to action on March 30 when they play La Palmas in La Liga.
