Palmer set for bumper pay rise months after signing from Man City

The English attacker has been a revelation in his first season at Stamford Bridge, and he is one of Chelsea’s best performers this season. Palmer, who joined the club from Manchester City last summer, has 16 goals in 35 matches across all competitions and 12 assists.

The 21-year-old’s current Blues contract pays him £80,000 per week, but the Daily Mail has reported that the West London club is set to reward him with a new lucrative deal ahead of the 2024/25 season. While the club has yet to start talks with the player about a new contract, they have admitted internally that the England international deserves better terms.

The former Cityzens star’s impressive performances with Chelsea earned him his first national team call-up in November, but he was left out of England’s friendlies during the recent international break.
