This is an enticing wager as I expect Golden State to get back on track on Thursday. The Magic have the 4th-worst offensive rating and the 5th-worst effective field-goal percentage, so I don’t believe they have enough firepower to keep it close with the Warriors, especially if Anthony and Ross are sidelined.
St. Louis Blues vs New York Islanders

This is your best bet in this game, but it will cost you. The Islanders are a solid team that is on a very hot streak to this point. Whether the Islanders win or lose they should be able to make this game close and cover the spread against a Blues team that has been struggling over the last week or so.
Tampa Bay Lightning vs Carolina Hurricanes

are the play on home ice despite the fact Vassy hasn’t gotten off to the strongest of starts. He’s started slow traditionally, then picks up steam like an avalanche and gets better as the season goes along.
Facing the Hurricanes should help Vasilevskiy get on track. Carolina is just 4-14 in its past 18 trips to Tampa and 17-35 in the previous 52 meetings overall in this series.
