NBA + NHL Predictions, Basketball & Hockey, 11 November 2022

Washington Wizards vs Dallas Mavericks:

BET ON OVER 201.5 (1.46)

The Mavericks have the 8th-best offensive rating in the league and Doncic could be in store for a special performance Thursday.

The Over has hit in 6 of the 8 meetings between the Mavericks and the Wizards in Washington and has hit in 4 of the last 5 meetings overall.

Miami Heat vs Charlotte Hornets:

BET UNDER 223.5 (1.45).

The Under is 6-1-1 in Charlotte’s last 8 games and 3-1 in Miami’s last 4 games. Neither team has been impressive offensively as of late and that trend should continue Thursday as these 2 low-scoring teams come out extra focused on the defensive end in an attempt to break their losing streaks.

Atlanta Hawks vs Philadelphia 76ers:

BET ON ATALANTA +5.5 (1.45).

I’ll take home even though it could be a close game. Atlanta is on a back-to-back, but they’ll be playing at home for the 2nd straight day and the Hawks will be looking to bounce back following a loss to the Jazz.

Detroit Red Wings vs New York Rangers:

I expect a concerted effort from the Rangers, but Detroit gets it done at home, where it is 5-1-2. New York simply isn’t scoring enough, and they appear to have a lack of cohesiveness on the ice right now.

Colorado Avalanche vs Nashville Predators:

BET ON OVER 5.5 (1.50).

Mostly due to the shaky play of Saros. The Over is 21-5-1 in the past 27 games inside the Central Division for the Predators, while going 37-17-1 in their past 55 road outings.

The Over is 6-1 in Colorado’s past 7 inside the Central, while cashing at a 5-2 clip in the previous 7 at Ball Arena.
